The battles will continue on the NBC singing competition on Monday, during which coaches Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson, John Legend and Nick Jonas will pair members of their teams for a singing showdown. After practice sessions with the help of team mentors, contestants will sing a song together in front of all of the coaches for their chance at moving forward in the competition. Following their sing-off, coaches will have to decide which of the two artists will head to the knockouts....

There was an onslaught of talent to wow the judges with their voices during the last three weeks of blind auditions, resulting in 11 acts being added to teams. The final four slots will be filled on each team on Monday, however, some members will get the axe on the same night during the first battle round. The competition will be even slimmer following the battle rounds, which will pit two members from each of the coaches’ teams against one another and force them to sing the same song together in front of a live audience....

The singer, who has appeared on the NBC show since it began in 2011, announced on October 11 that Season 23 of the singing competition, set to air in early 2023, will be his last. In its 2004 annual survey of global human rights, coincidentally released on the same day as the Ashcroft announcement, the watchdog group includes its most detailed analysis yet of terrorist-group activity. The human-rights advocacy nonprofit documented the doings of 177 terrorist organizations–or, as they describe them, “armed groups”–in 65 countries over four years. The findings were simultaneously predictable and counterintuitive: while human-rights abuses were committed by 69 percent of these groups, Amnesty concludes that governments combating them perpetrated many of the same violations–torture, sexual abuse, rape....

The Witcher: Blood Origin is a prequel to the hit fantasy show that stars Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia, and will be a six-episode limited series. The series was first announced in August 2020, with Jodie Turner-Smith originally cast to take on a role before she departed the production in April 2021. Michelle Yeoh then signed on to the show in July 2021, with Laurence O’Fuarain and Sophia Brown also being cast in the production....

Reebok took the liberty of flaunting this new collection on their Instagram handle through a post, and fans had an unexpected reaction to it. Most of the comments were trolling the collection and the post became the subject of several jokes. A user on Instagram wrote, The collaboration brings exclusive French luxury fashion house Maison Margiela and accessible sportswear brand Reebok together.
