How to watch The Witches online
To watch The Witches online in the U.S., viewers will have to subscribe to HBO Max, where the movie is streaming exclusively. Unlike the Disney+ release of Mulan, however, subscribers will not have to pay any additional money to watch the movie.
The Witches is available to all HBO Max subscribers, with the release date and time expected to be midnight PDT on Thursday, October 22.
New subscribers to HBO Max, meanwhile, are able to watch the movie for free. The streamer offers a seven-day free trial, during which you can watch The Witches and their extensive catalog of Halloween-ready movies as well as exclusive TV shows like Raised by Wolves and Love Life.
As HBO Max is currently only available in the U.S., Roald Dahl fans in other countries will have slightly longer to wait before they can stream The Witches.
However, the film is coming to some territories later in October. The United Kingdom and Ireland, for example, will be able to stream The Witches from Monday, October 26.
In some countries, however, it seems like The Witches may be getting a cinema release. Per IMDB, the movie is being released on the following dates in the following countries:
