This seems to suggest that Magna and Connie are both dead, with the pair joining characters like Frances (Juliet Brett), Margo (Jerri Tubbs) and Brandon (Blaine Kern III) in The Walking Dead Season 10 death count.

However, as Walking Dead has featured a number of fake-outs involving characters buried under things that were then revealed to be alive, many fans think that the pair must still be alive.

For example, one fan wrote on the Reddit: “Magna will be fine. Only explanation for what they’re doing with her from a writing perspective is to give her an early redemption arc. She’s being intentionally written as an unlikeable character with an attitude for a reason, not just to have her die a season into her story when she was the leader of her group coming in.

“Killing her now when she’s hardly a sympathetic character would be a complete waste of her character development and purpose in the show. It’s just not going to happen anytime soon.”

Speaking of Carol, meanwhile, another Reddit poster wrote: “Connie is alive. She is (I dunno about Magna) but Connie will come back, you can already see the reunion with Daryl and Kelly.”

The fact that Connie has romantic sparks with Daryl (Norman Reedus) is the main reason why many fans think she has to come back after TWD Season 10, Episode 9.

At the end of the episode, he thinks there may be another entrance into the cave which he then sets out to find, suggesting there may be some hope after all for Magna and Connie.

Kelly (Angel Theory) was also seen devastated by the two potential deaths, suggesting she could be joining the search party in the next episode.

Yumiko (Eleanor Matsuura) is also likely to come looking for Magna, making possible an emotional reunion between the two of them after their relationship has been strained in recent episodes of the AMC show.

Whether Magna and Connie are alive or dead, the events of “Squeeze” are sure to have massive ramifications for Carol (Melissa McBride), who set off the explosion that led to the cave-in. Daryl walks off without her at the end of the episode, but everyone is sure to have questions about her carelessness in the cave going forward.
